I earned an BA in English from Baruch College, a MS in Education from the College of Saint Rose, and a Post Master's Certificate in Educational Leadership from StonyBrook University, where I obtained my School Building Leader and School District Leader Certificates. My family and I have spent 7 years in the field of childcare, and I have spent 12+ years in the field of education. This journey into the growth of Eco Kids has been a dream come true. Nyarari Santeliz Preschool Lead Teacher
I am a graduate of Cornell University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. I also attended The College of Saint Rose, where I earned 28 Graduate credits in Early Childhood Education. I have taught at CEO Family Resource center, Albany Public Schools as a Building Substitute, and most recently at Circle of Friends in Delmar.

Latanya Nelson Preschool Assistant Teacher
Tanya came to us in 2015, when we were still Eco Baby Daycare, located on 4th Street. The Charter School she worked for closed, and she knew she wanted to continue working with young children. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages, and the mentally disabled population. She loves kids and has 5 children of her own.

I graduated from The College of Saint Rose in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education. I have been working in the Early Childhood Education field since 2006 and have experience with all ages of children, ranging from infants to school-aged. I started my career as an Assistant Teacher at Bethlehem Preschool while working toward my degree and became a Lead Teacher for Early Head Start soon after graduation. I have a passion for not only running a successful center, but leading and coaching staff to success as well.
Fun fact: I have been a vegetarian since the age of 10!

Early Childhood Education has been my passion for over a decade. I graduated from Bristol Community College in 2006 with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also spent time working toward my Bachelor's at Plattsburgh State College. I have worked with a variety of ages ranging from infants to preschoolers within my 12 years of working in the field.

Lauryn Sterantino Infant II Assistant Teacher
I am a graduate of Averill Park High School. I have always had a passion for working with children and enjoy watching children accomplish new milestones. I have experience working with children of all ages as well as some experience working with children with disabilities.
Fun Fact: I love spending time with my family camping and hiking!
Ketti Soto Infant I Assistant Teacher
I attended Fulton County Community College where I studied to become a patient care technician. I worked with the elderly and within a few different hospitals over the course of several years before deciding to dive into the childcare field. I also interned on the maternity floor at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam where I was able to help mamas and their new babies.
Fun Fact: I have three beautiful daughters, two of which are twins! I also have one adorable granddaughter!
Cassandra LaMountain Toddler I Assistant Teacher
I graduated from Maple Hill High School in 2018. I love working with children/babies and seeing how they learn and grow over time. I have experience working with children on all ages ranging from infants to adolescents. I worked at Happy Kids Daycare as a Floater while in High School; there I helped in the Infant, Toddler and Preschool classrooms. I also have a sister who is 10 years younger than me; I enjoyed helping my mom care for her as I was growing up. I plan to advance my education in the future and pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education.

I am a graduate of Berlin Jr/Sr High School and completed some courses in Business at Mildred Elley. I have been working with children of all ages for the past 20 years, both inside and outside childcare centers.

Alexandra Edmans Floater
I am a graduate of Averill Park High School and also attended both Russell Sage College and The College of Saint Rose, where I successfully completed a certificate program. I have experience at several local childcare centers including St. Vincent's, Mercy Care and Unity Sunshine Daycare. I started at Eco Baby as an intern before being hired as a Floater!
